Conifers are not all they seem, and there’s no better champion for them than Matthew Pottage, Curator at RHS Wisley. Here, he chooses his 5 favourites, and they’re a world away from Leylandii and Scots Pine!
Conifers are colourful, evergreen, structural, and not to be overlooked. Choose carefully, especially in terms of eventual size, and you will have a great garden plant. The revival starts here!!
